Idea

Muslims in most parts of the globe do not or cannot play the lottery (as it's considered haram), hence, this business model is a turn around from the regular lottery mechanism. In a lottery, an individual purchases a ticket, and his odds of winning are 1:504 million, and when the individual does not win, the purchase amount is wasted without any returns. Wincredibles business model works around the concept, in our business model the purchase is made for a commodity (hence halal) and against the purchase of the commodity a lucky draw digital coupon is sent to the individual, the odds of winning are 1:5000 and in case the individual does not win the grand prize, the individual still has the commodity purchase for example a t-shirt / or a cap or pen etc. To date, our winners have won grand prizes like iPhones, Samsung phones, Louis Vuitton bags, etc.

Challenge

This start-up solves the problem of a shariah-compliant lottery business that's halal and exciting to participate in.

Solution

Gives Muslims across the globe the opportunity to play the lottery along with purchasing commodities.

Story

For the longest time, my wife used to take me to a supermarket which was far away from our residence (although there were other supermarkets nearer), however we still ended up going to the first one which was far off. The reason why we kept on going there month after month was that the supermarket offered a lucky draw scheme on the purchase of monthly groceries once the bill crossed $100. Although in a span of 4 years we only won ONE dinner set, the excitement of the chance of winning was exhilarating. Based on the same concept, Wincredibles was developed with non-perishable commodities.
