SavMe (a Startup based in United States), a startup that helps people in emergency situations, has closed its Series A round of funding . Savme’s service replaces the standard 911 emergency service by using mobile phones to connect with emergency providers and helpers. Savme has already signed up more than 1 million users in over 100 countries and is currently available in 11 languages. SavMe product was developed through the technical cofounder program by FasterCapital and it has joined already the Grow your Startup program to expand its operations worldwide.

SavMe app uses the latest smartphone technologies (camera, GPS location, compass,... etc) to help the caller and the operator deal with the situation at hand more quickly and efficiently. The company plans to use the funds to expand its operations, adding more ambulances and emergency response teams to its existing network of service providers. Savme CEO and co-founder Nicolas Denji say the goal is to make it easier for people in emergency situations to get help. "We're excited to partner with Norwest, Index Ventures, and our other investors to help us build Savme into the leading emergency response platform for the future," he said. SavMe has already joined the Raise Capital program by FasterCapital.
