Idea

Pneumatika Group is a social enterprise committed to the holistic development of children and youth through mentorship, talent development, and skill acquisition. Founded in 2019 and based in Kiserian, Kenya, the organization aims to create a positive and nurturing environment that equips young people to become responsible, value-driven citizens. By establishing Tumaini Community Centre, Pneumatika Group envisions a dedicated space that promotes mental, emotional, and physical well-being while nurturing individual potential in a fast-growing suburban town.

Challenge

Pneumatika Group is addressing the growing challenges of youth disempowerment, mental health struggles, and lack of constructive recreational facilities in Kiserian and its surrounding areas. With rising rates of anxiety, depression, and suicide among teenagers, the absence of safe, purpose-driven environments for young people is a critical concern. Pneumatika seeks to combat these issues by creating an affirming ecosystem that nurtures life skills, inspires purpose, and equips individuals with tools to overcome societal barriers such as poverty, abuse, and unemployment.

Solution

Pneumatika Group is providing a community-centered solution through the development of the Tumaini Community Centre—a multifunctional space designed to offer structured programs in mentorship, skill building, talent development, and recreation. The Centre will cater to families, individuals, and corporate organizations with membership options, single-use services, and subsidized programs for vulnerable community members. This inclusive model not only fosters social integration but also promotes health, resilience, and economic empowerment among youth and families.
