The collaboration pairs NetPoints’ decentralized energy + connectivity platform with FasterCapital’s capital, mentorship, and go-to-market resources to scale access to reliable power and internet for underserved communities.

Africa continues to face acute information and energy poverty: hundreds of millions remain offline and without reliable electricity, constraining education, healthcare, and economic growth. Rapid mobile and off-grid solar adoption signals a multi‑billion dollar white space for bundled energy + ICT services. Fragmented distribution, limited local manufacturing, and financing gaps leave rural and peri-urban customers underserved — an opening for integrated PAYG providers that can deliver hardware, software, and financing under one platform.
