NARCHI Motor and FasterCapital Equitypilot to Accelerate EV Motorbikes in Bangladesh
Dhaka, Bangladesh & Dubai, UAE - Dac 12, 2025
Narchi Motor Corporation and FasterCapital today announced a strategic partnership through the Equitypilot program focused on Bangladesh and regional markets to accelerate commercialization of NARCHI’s cloud-connected electric motorbikes. The collaboration combines FasterCapital’s global acceleration resources with NARCHI’s patented power-regenerating technology, modular batteries and connected services to reduce emissions and operating costs.
Market opportunity & problem statement
Bangladesh’s motorcycle market projected at roughly US$1.91 billion in 2023 with strong CAGR to 2027 remains dominated by internal-combustion models with high maintenance costs, poor emissions and limited longevity. Existing electric options often offer short range, heavy lead-acid batteries and limited service networks. NARCHI targets the white space for affordable, long-range, modular EV motorbikes for both consumer and commercial segments (delivery, FMCG reps, police and defense), addressing regulatory pressure for cleaner transport and a national EV share growth target through 2030.
Startup solution & differentiation
NARCHI Motor’s product suite combines a patented power-regenerating technology that increases mileage by up to 30%, portable swappable battery modules, cloud-based bike health monitoring, real-time tracking, and an integrated charging-station network. These capabilities enable lower total cost of ownership, reduced downtime for fleet operators and safer, connected rides for consumers. NARCHI will offer tiered models (low, medium, high budget) and commercial service packages including battery swap booths, app subscriptions and on-site charging for enterprises and institutions. As the only local manufacturer candidate with an IP-backed power-regeneration approach and modular battery architecture, NARCHI differentiates on range, price and after-sales control versus import-only competitors.
FasterCapital partnership value
Through the Equitypilot program, NARCHI will access FasterCapital’s global mentor network, technical and commercial due diligence, go-to-market playbooks, and capital-raising support. FasterCapital’s selective criteria and track record of scaling deep-tech startups validate NARCHI’s IP and market fit while accelerating prototype refinement, pilot deployments and investor introductions. The collaboration is designed to compress time-to-market, equip NARCHI with operational best practices, and support fundraising for assembly-line setup and charging infrastructure rollout.
Executive quotes
“FasterCapital isbacking teams with clear technology defensibility and market traction,” said Hesham Zreik, investment lead. “NARCHI’s patented regeneration and modular battery approach addresses a major pain point in emerging-market EV adoption and fits our Equitypilot thesis.
”MD Dilwar Hossain, founder and CEO of NARCHI Motor Corporation, said: “This partnership validates our vision to make electric mobility practical and affordable in Bangladesh. FasterCapital’s mentorship, network and funding support will let us scale pilots, deploy swap stations, and deliver safer, longer-range EV bikes that meet commercial fleet demands.”
Growth trajectory & future plans
Near term, NARCHI will complete prototype validation, launch city pilot programs and build swap-and-charge pilot stations. The company plans phased assembly-line investment and local spares manufacturing to reduce import dependency. Funding needs are targeted through Equitypilot introductions for a projected initial investment of roughly US$10.8M for R&D, assembly line setup and go-to-market activities. Longer term, NARCHI aims to capture significant local market share, expand across South Asia, and develop hybrid, LPG/CNG and hydrogen variants.
