Mentors (1112)
Finding a Mentor
Mentors are important to founders’ success because they can provide different opinions and valuable connections. In many cases, mentors can be the bridge to the investor. Mentors can also gain a lot from mentorship as much as their mentees. Mentoring allows them to stay connected with the newest technologies and to keep in touch with the challenges facing entrepreneurs nowadays and in different fields.
One of the most important challenges facing any entrepreneur is to find the right mentor which nowadays is much more of a challenge.
At FasterCapital, we help any entrepreneur find the right mentor from our network of mentors. All our mentors have very different and diverse backgrounds and some of them work in big incubators like 500startup, Ycombinator, TechStars, etc.
Finding a mentor means that you need to find a person you like, easily interact with, a person who listens carefully to what you have to say and guides you through your tough journey. You can check the list below or you can contact us directly to help you find the right mentor for you.
Feel free to fill in the form below in order for our team to match you with the right mentor(s).
Becoming a Mentor
An effective mentor is someone who has the desire to share their experience and help new entrepreneurs overcome the challenges that they are facing. They are also people with the ability to recognize and encourage entrepreneurs and help them go to the limit of their potential. They are also ready to help entrepreneurs/mentees in the decision-making process by listening, reviewing, assessing, and advising. A mentor can then obtain personal satisfaction because they are making a huge difference in the dream of another person. A mentor can enhance their skills in leadership, interpersonal skills, decision making, and communication. They will increase their professional network by helping entrepreneurs and assessing the different business potentials that they have. Mentors can also get updated about the challenges facing entrepreneurs nowadays and come up with innovative solutions.
FasterCapital is expanding throughout the world and we are looking for more mentors who are passionate about what they do and have the ability to motivate start-ups. For the compensation, we leave it to entrepreneurs and mentors to agree on (money and/or equity). We will only introduce suitable startups to you after getting your approval. Your compensation will be mostly equity and/or cash. So if you find yourself a good candidate as a mentor for this position, please read the process Become a Mentor.
