The collaboration addresses urgent regional feed shortages, improves flock survival with medicated, lab-validated rations, and accelerates commercial scale-up through technical, operational and fundraising support.

The MENA poultry-feed market is expanding as demand for affordable protein rises and smallholder farms seek reliable inputs. In southern Yemen, farmers face acute shortages of high-quality compound feed and repeated flock losses tied to substandard rations and limited local supply a white space created by a single, under-capacitated local mill. Khairat Yafi’ targets this inefficiency by localizing production, cutting lead times, lowering costs and improving bird health outcomes for dozens of commercial and backyard farms across the region.
