Inked studios africa and FasterCapital today announced a strategic partnership through the EquityPilot program to accelerate Inked’s three-venture portfolio—SwiftServe, TimeTrekker and KE Events—launching pilots in Nairobi now and targeting regional expansion across East and West Africa with program mentorship, product support and fundraising assistance.

Africa’s urban digital services market is growing rapidly, driven by mobile-first adoption among 19–35 year-olds, but fragmented last-mile logistics, low-productivity tooling for students and young professionals, and inefficient event discovery remain persistent pain points. SwiftServe, TimeTrekker and KE Events target distinct white spaces in delivery, productivity and social ticketing where incumbents struggle to localize, leaving room for design-led, owned ventures that combine product, ops and go-to-market agility.

SwiftServe offers a mobile-first last-mile delivery stack with merchant subscriptions and premium options; TimeTrekker is a freemium productivity platform integrating performance tracking and fintech ties for campuses and teams; KE Events provides social discovery and streamlined ticketing with partner services. Inked’s design-led founding team has validated product concepts with early pilots and aims for 10K+ users in Nairobi during its initial 18-month runway. plans Inked Studios will use EquityPilot support to complete MVPs, launch Nairobi pilots (Q4 2025–Q1 2026), secure 5 campus partnerships for TimeTrekker, scale SwiftServe operations across Kenyan cities, and monetize KE Events. The studio plans a Seed raise of $1.5M+ in 2027 to fund regional expansion into Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria and South Africa and to launch its Industrial Design division in 2028.
