Idea

General Works Engineering is a Gabonese company focused on modernizing and scaling the transport of minerals, starting with manganese. The company aims to meet the growing demand for reliable, high-quality logistics solutions for mining operations in Gabon, ensuring safe and efficient delivery from extraction sites to processing and export locations. By leveraging modern trucks, heavy machinery, and structured operations, General Works Engineering positions itself as a trusted partner for major mining corporations.

Challenge

General Works Engineering  (GWE) addresses several key challenges with its pollution control centers. First, the growing issue of toxic vehicle emissions in Gabon’s major cities and the need for solutions that help improve air quality. By establishing AutoGreen Pollution Control Centers, GWE directly responds to the increasing demand for eco-friendly vehicle maintenance. Additionally, GWE tackles the challenge of public awareness and compliance, working with government ministries to ensure that vehicle owners understand the importance of obtaining a Pollution Card and visiting the centers regularly. The strategic partnerships with ministries ensure that the initiative is not only well-supported but also effectively enforced through road checks and police involvement, making it easier for the public to adopt clean vehicle practices.

Solution

General Works Engineering  (GWE) plans to market the AutoGreen Pollution Control Centers through a comprehensive communication strategy that targets both individual motorists and fleet owners. A significant part of this strategy includes partnerships with relevant government ministries to promote the centers and encourage compliance with new emission regulations. Key tactics include an extensive advertising campaign featuring TV spots, radio ads, and printed materials. To enhance visibility and access, a website will be created with features such as online booking, detailed information on services, and customer support. Additionally, GWE will incentivize early adoption with a free installation offer for the first 100 customers, driving initial traffic to the centers and raising awareness about the environmental benefits.
