Idea

Gabb Global is tackling a fundamental failure in language education: despite over 500 million users on leading language apps, only about 1% achieve real conversational fluency. Existing solutions fall short because they prioritize memorization and repetitive exercises rather than practical language use. Traditional classrooms remain outdated, offering little personalization or real-time feedback, while digital apps often function more as entertainment than effective learning tools. This gap is especially critical for the 5.6 million English Language Learner (ELL) students in the U.S., 60% of whom never reach fluency.

Challenge

Gabb Global is addressing key challenges in language learning outcomes, engagement, and scalability within the education system. Schools demand measurable results rather than feature-heavy tools, yet most solutions fail to deliver meaningful improvements in fluency and retention. There is also a systemic issue of low engagement due to monotonous learning methods, combined with a lack of individualized instruction at scale. By targeting these gaps particularly in a rapidly growing global market and a U.S. K-12 ELL segment where millions struggle to achieve fluency Gabb Global positions itself to solve both the effectiveness and accessibility problems in language education.

Solution

Gabb Global is building a neuroadaptive AI-powered platform designed to transform how students achieve language fluency. The software integrates seamlessly with devices schools already use, requiring no additional hardware investment. Its core technology includes a neuroadaptive AI engine that detects cognitive load in real time and dynamically adjusts difficulty, alongside a custom speech AI trained on over 50,000 ESL recordings to better interpret how students actually speak. Delivered across Chromebooks, tablets, and laptops with optional VR enhancements the platform focuses not just on teaching language, but on training the brain to use it effectively.
