Forfiction Joins FasterCapital’s Raise Capital Program to Amplify Growth and Community Reach
Forfiction, USA based creative platform dedicated to empowering writers, readers, and publishers to collaborate on fiction projects, has joined FasterCapital's Raise Capital program. With $2.2 million already invested in the platform, Forfiction aims to raise an additional $300,000 to further enhance its suite of tools for writing, editing, and publishing, as well as to strengthen its vibrant community that encourages feedback, collaboration, and support for writers.
“FasterCapital is excited to support Forfiction in scaling their vision of a comprehensive platform that addresses the creative needs of writers and offers publishing support. The platform is positioned to make a real impact in the writing community, and we look forward to helping them connect with investors to accelerate this mission,” said Bashar Hamood, Managing Partner at FasterCapital.
Founded by Petri Salonen, along with Andy, a novelist, and Jack, a graphic designer, Forfiction was created as a solution to the many challenges writers encounter, from limited professional support in self-publishing to the slow, restrictive processes of traditional publishing. With Forfiction, they’ve built a seamless experience for writers to create, edit, and self-publish, while offering opportunities for community engagement and feedback.
“Forfiction’s platform bridges a critical gap in the writing and publishing industry, giving writers the tools and community they need to thrive,” commented Hesham Zreik, CEO of FasterCapital. “Our Raise Capital program will support Forfiction in connecting with investors and refining their approach as they bring this vision to a larger audience.”
Petri Salonen, co-founder of Forfiction, expressed optimism about joining FasterCapital’s Raise Capital program: “We’re excited to work with FasterCapital to reach our funding goals and expand our platform. Their expertise in helping startups secure investments aligns well with our mission to empower writers and streamline the publishing process. This partnership will accelerate our vision of creating a supportive, end-to-end creative community.”
Through the Raise Capital program, FasterCapital will work closely with Forfiction to connect them with investors and provide strategic support, ensuring they’re equipped for future growth and success in the competitive landscape of creative and publishing platforms.
