Idea

The idea of creating FASSOUM PEANUT OIL was born from a simple but striking observation: peanuts, although widely cultivated in Niger, were often under-exploited in terms of local processing. During an informal discussion between partners, it became clear that this lack of valuation represented a unique opportunity. Each of us had experience in agriculture and the food industry, and we understood that we could combine our skills to fill this gap in the market.

Challenge

Located in Zinder, one of the regions in the South-East of Niger which extends between the coordinates 12°48’ and 17°30’ north latitude, then between 7°20’ and 12°0’ east longitude. It occupies 12.3% of the national territory and is located approximately 900 km from Niamey, the political capital. Our company will take advantage of the region’s rich peanut resources, ensuring fresh, quality raw materials. The production process will be structured to ensure efficiency and rigorous quality control. We will use modern processing methods that respect .A brief overview of impact is defined as the transformation of stakeholders, society and the environment as a result of specific activities carried out by an entity. Transformations include:Negative effects: pollution, waste, unemployment, depression, etc.

Solution

Abandoning fossil fuels and replacing them with alternative energies such as solar energy.

Story

FASSOUM HUILE D ARACHIDE is positioned on the booming market of peanut and derivatives processing, with a strategic focus on the production of TIGA DIGAY peanut oil and oilcake. By focusing on the quality and authenticity of our products, we aim to meet growing demand, both locally and internationally.The company will be established in Zinder Niger in compliance with current regulations. In the short term, we aim to conquer a significant market share through our differentiating assets, such as innovative processing processes and a sustainability-focused approach. In the medium term, the idea is to evaluate expansion opportunities to diversify our offering and maximize our impact in the sector, thus paving the way for a rapid ramp-up of our activity in a promising market .
