Farming by Faith is addressing major structural challenges in South African agriculture: a lack of access to land for black and emerging farmers, widespread underutilization of rural land, and limited institutional support for new entrants. Existing systems offer fragmented or incomplete solutions, while FBF delivers an integrated model that not only connects farmers to land, but also provides the knowledge, tools, and market access needed to thrive.

Solution

Farming by Faith is building a purpose-driven land-linking and support platform that pairs landowners with aspiring farmers based on location, land type, experience, and available capital. In addition to matchmaking, the platform provides a four-tier farmer enablement system that includes training, equipment sharing, a buyer network, and end-to-end farm-to-market guidance—ensuring that each agripreneur is equipped to grow, sell, and scale.
