FasterCapital backs Remada Agrivalue to commercialize Remada’s natural products
Sousse, Tunisia & Dubai, UAE - Oct 15, 2025
Bio Tounsi & FasterCapital today announced a strategic partnership through FasterCapital’s EquityPilot program to accelerate an integrated agricultural and value‑added production project in Remada, Tunisia. The collaboration combines Bio Tounsi’s land, water resources and production plan with FasterCapital’s capital, mentorship and fundraising support to scale local dairy, meat, olive and date value chains across regional and export markets.
Market opportunity & problem statement
North Africa’s agri-value markets are expanding as consumers demand safe, natural and traceable products. Yet local producers face fragmented supply chains, limited processing capacity and capital gaps. Bio Tounsi addresses a white-space: converting 500 ha and a 300‑cow herd plan into integrated dairy, meat, olive oil, date and horticulture value chains with on-site processing. The project targets domestic shortages and export demand for terroir-branded, value-added goods.
Startup solution & differentiation
Bio Tounsi’s model combines regenerative land management, deep groundwater capture, forage production, and on-site processing (dairy, cheese, oil, dates) to maximize value per hectare and secure product quality. Key assets: 500 ha development plan, planned 300 dairy cows, pastoral and orchard plantations, and modular fromagerie and processing lines. The project projects progressive revenue growth to 9.8M DT by year five and emphasizes product traceability, terroir quality, and low‑impact irrigation — differentiators versus commodity suppliers and informal market channels.
