Baysoom Mebel’s is a Panamanian smart furniture startup aiming to transform how people live, work, and rest. We offer multifunctional and tech-integrated furniture — such as smart beds, wireless charging tables, LED lights, smart locks, and more — focused on futuristic aesthetics, functionality, and space efficiency. Our dual B2C and B2B strategy allows us to impact modern homes as well as real estate developments, hotels, and workspaces, creating truly intelligent environments.

Challenge

Today, many individuals and businesses face the limitations of small spaces, a lack of integrated technology in their furniture, and little innovation in interior design. The Latin American market remains largely untapped when it comes to accessible, functional, and visually appealing smart furniture. Real estate developers also seek differentiation without significantly increasing costs, making innovation both a challenge and a necessity.

Solution

Baysoom Mebel’s addresses these issues by designing and commercializing smart furniture with integrated tech features (USB ports, Bluetooth speakers, LED lighting, safes, wireless chargers, cooling systems, etc.). Our strategy includes B2B partnerships with hotels, developers, and corporate spaces, offering factory prices in exchange for margin participation. This allows us to scale efficiently. Our vision is to deliver an intelligent, aesthetic, and connected living experience to every user.

Story

The idea came while observing high-end properties in Panama: modern and stylish, but filled with traditional and non-functional furniture. I wondered why furniture wasn’t keeping up with the digital age. Inspired by minimal design, technology, and the smart home boom, I began building Baysoom Mebel’s as an all-in-one solution. Without a showroom and with limited resources, we validated our vision by closing our first sale fully online, proving the demand was real and the market was ready.
