Agrismart Technologies Joins FasterCapital’s LaunchUp Program to Expand Financial Inclusion in Rural Kenya
Agrismart Technelogies, a financial inclusion enterprise based in Kenya, has joined FasterCapital’s LaunchUp program as part of its mission to bridge the financial gap in underserved rural communities. The company is currently raising $500,000 to expand its operations and impact across the western, Nyanza, and North Rift regions of Kenya.
Founded by Fred Anami, Agrismart Technologies focuses on delivering tailored financial solutions to individuals who earn less than $5 a day and are excluded from traditional banking due to barriers such as lack of collateral, high interest rates, and limited financial literacy. The company provides community-based savings models, needs-specific microloans, and continuous financial education to empower its users and create sustainable economic resilience.
Hesham Zreik, CEO at FasterCapital, commented:
"Agrismart Technologies is tackling one of the most pressing challenges in emerging markets—financial exclusion. We are excited to support their work through the LaunchUp program and help them reach more communities with tools that enable long-term financial independence."
He added, "What sets Agrismart apart is its human-centered approach to finance. By embedding education and trust within their model, they are not just offering loans—they're building inclusive systems that work for people often left behind."
Fred Anami, Founder and CEO of Agrismart Technologies, said:
“Joining FasterCapital’s LaunchUp program marks a pivotal moment for us. The support and mentorship we will receive will be instrumental in scaling our impact and reaching more rural populations with services that are both accessible and transformative.”
Through this partnership, Agrismart Technologies aims to accelerate its product development, strengthen its technical infrastructure, and ultimately ensure that even the most remote Kenyan communities have access to the financial services they deserve.
